IF YOU CAN TYPE, YOU CAN DO MANY THINGS HERE

Did you enjoy our last project creating comics?

If you want to go on  writing and listenig to your own English dialogues you can use  Xtranormal's text-to-movie platform—a web-based application used to create short 3D animated movies from simple text-based movie-scripts. The characters in the movie speak the dialogue in the script, and react to performance triggers—icons that are dropped directly into the script, just like smileys in IM/chat. Movies can be shared through e-mail, blogs and online video sharing and social networking sites such as YouTube, MySpace and Facebook.

Here I show you another way of learning English by doing things on the web with this talk about learning in Second Life a mixed reality session with Chris Smith in R.L. interacting with Shamblesguru in S.L.

VOKI , A FANTASTIC TOOL FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNERS

Voki is a great tool that allows the 21st century students and teachers to capture, publish, celebrate and converse about any topic or subject.
Here are some of the things we can do :
  1. -During English lessons some students are uncomfortable reading their homework. Thanks to this tool they can present their work without embarrassment.
  2. -We can use it recording themselves saying a dialogue or reading a passage. Listening enables us to hear how we sound and we can work on fluency.
Here I give you some examples with some of the main characters from Treasure Island :

 WEEK ACTIVITY :
Now it´s your turn , you must create a speaking avatar and send it to me ...
After that we can try with our own class !!!
Have fun :-)

VALENTINE´S DAY

Love is real, real is love.
Love is feeling, feeling love.
Love is wanting to be loved.
Love is touch, touch is love.
Love is reaching, reaching love.
Love is asking to be loved.
Love is you, you and me.
Love is knowing we can be.
Love is free, free is love.
Love is living, living love.
Love is needing to be loved.
